I do not think you realize how tirelessly I have been working to acquire said money. I believe you are a successful man with many “pounds” in your bank account, and you don’t understand how much $67,000 is. But it is simply not money I just have in my pocket… I have spent all weekend pandering for money. I even spent Saturday afternoon offering services on the corner (if you know what I mean). I have some prospects, but people are hesitant to give me over $60K. You know that is a lot of people’s yearly money, they’re not ready to just give it up to some ugly old lady. Luckily I think I can get a few thousand from the PaceMaker fund.

Chapter 3 Summary
– Omitted (3) emails from 3/16 – 3/24.
– Dorothy is having a hard time coming up with the money. She sends her bank statements and regular updates on her financial status.
– She has the idea that David White could loan her $3,700, then when she gets the money she will split it with him. He agrees saying he will go to the Payday Loan office & give her some of his salary.
– Since they are going to be splitting money, she wants her Uncle Jedidiah, a disbarred lawyer, to draft a contract.
